Term 2 commences!

Life at frenchclass continues to be hectic. After an unscheduled visit to France we are getting back on track.

Un grand merci for the love and kind wishes expressed to Martine at this time. Also a huge thank to Thomas and Willya for holding the fort.

Term two starts this week!
Our autumn term is underway with excellent enrollments. We are just so delighted at the enthusiasm of all those students coming to learn French.

The beginners classes are very full so if you are interested in a spot we have vacancies in selected classes only. Contact us on 93802672.

Our secondary students are now well underway with their year. Once again we will be offering an HSC Intensive in the July school holidays - 2nd to 6th July- to assist students in the preparation of their oral and written examination. Contact frenchclass for all the details on this exciting programme.

frenchclass in Paris
In June we will be heading to Paris to run our Masterclass in le Marais. We are so excited about returning to Paris and being in this wonderful city with our students. We are located just around the corner from the Pompidou!

En route 2012!

Once again we are steaming ahead with the year and busy times for frenchclass and all things French. We have have had an extraordinarily popular start to the year with many new students joining frenchclass and experiencing our unique way of teaching French.

For lovers of all things French, the Film festival starts this week and there is a great range of films on offer. Jane Birkin preforming her tribute to Serge Gainsborg is also in town and has a concert next week at the City Recital Angel Place on 16th March. C’est formidable!

Intensive class
Once again we are offering intensive class in the Easter holidays.
From the 16th to 20th April we will have intermediate and advanced classes open to all to “live” a week of French.

Term 2
Our programme for the second term is available on the classes page and places are filling up fast!
We have 5 available Foundation 1 classes giving student plenty of flexibility to find a class at a time that suits them!
So don’t delay as our classes are intentionally small to give you the chance to maximise your learning!

Paris in June
frenchclass relocates to Paris in June for our masterclass.
We are offering two classes in this magical city.
Based in the Marais students meet up each morning for a coffee and suitable fortified they are prepared to make fantastic progress with their French. Once the hard work is done, students will enjoy a French inspired lunch accompanied by French wines! click here for more details.

C’est la saint Valentin!

What better way to celebrate St Valentine’s day then with a lesson in the language of love!

2012 is underway and we hope that every is ready to get into their French after a peaceful festive season.
Martine had a short trip to France to connect with family and friends and got in touch with what’s happening in France.

Classes are already underway for 2012, with our intensive summer programme - this week it is the Foundation level classes and they have been having a blast with Martine! Next week is the advanced group who will enjoy a class and a laugh with Willya.

Term One classes start Saturday 28th January, with the week classes beginning Monday 30th Jan.
Classes are filling very quickly for 2012, so if learning French is part of your new year’s resolution or just a long held desire, don’t delay and join frenchclass today.

Le dernier trimestre!

There are no signs that this year is winding down as our final term gets underway. All the classes for this term are full which is fantastic.

It is also time to think of the summer holidays classes and 2012 programme.

Les petits bonheurs Parisiens

We have 2 different options next year for our Masterclass - a week long intermediate class or a one week advanced class. We had an brilliant time last year, with the students enjoying the chance to work on their French in the morning, have lunch ensemble and then go off and enjoy the rest of the day in whatever took their fancy. Students shopped, went sightseeing, engaged in flâner and cafe sitting - caught French conversations and soaked up Parisian life.

Miriam and Martine are back from their travels and had a wonderful time in Paris with the Masterclass.

Term 3 is underway and we hope we can warm up your days and nights with our brand of French language learning.
While most classes are full, there may be the odd spot available if you are still interested in joining us.

Here is a treat to warm up the wintery nights that we are experiencing. Caroline Nin is back at the Vanguard with her Scarlet Stories. Not to be missed!
