All our children’s classes start the week 1st Feb.

Le temps des cerises

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

Bonjour à nos amis de frenchclass,

Term 2 has started and most of our classes like the cherries trees below are full and blossoming. However if you want to start with us call me and I will see what we can do for you. We recommend to be ready for a term of lessons you can start your learning with the Michel Thomas method. See classes page for the links.

As many of you know I am just back from a family trip in Drôme in the Rhône Valley. I went to supervise the slow but continuing renovation of our country house La Grange, visit my mother and recharge my French batteries.

Ci-dessous (here under) quelques images de la Vallée du Rhône autour de La Grange.

Merci à tous et à toutes et à très bientôt.

Back Sydneyside

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

After seeing the French through the whole of there Rugby world cup from the safety of our armchairs from Provence, we are back in Sydney and getting our final term underway.

We had a fantastic time in both rural and metropolitan France, with our tour of Rugby wives in Provence a real hightlight. We also had vists to the countryside of Drome and city breaks in both Nice and Paris.

We joined in with the Parisians on the day of their transport strike and rode bikes on the fantastic velib’ where you can hire a bicycle and wheel your way through the streets of Paris. As there were fewer cars and buses this was tremendous fun. We kept to the little streets through the Marais and rung our bells like the natives when anything got in our way.
